Registration for the International Dupuytren Conference 2021, Oxford, UK

Conference registration will open 10 January 2021. Registration is handled by the University of Oxford on behalf of the International Dupuytren Society.

Regular conference fee:                          370 £

Reduced fees

for trainees, residents, and therapists:       250 £

“early bird” :                                                200 £

The conference dinner includes a buffet dinner and beverages (non-alcoholic, beer, and wine). Space at the conference dinner is limited, registered participants will receive an invitation for the conference dinner as long as space is available.

The Young Scientist Travel Award

To facilitate participation in this conference, a Young Scientist Travel Award has been instituted. Young scientists, aged 35 or less, can apply for this award after their paper has been accepted for the conference. Benefits of the award will be

  • free entrance to the conference (no conference fee charged or, if already charge, refund)
  • 250 € flat support for travel expenses (paid after the conference)

Requirements are

  • paper submitted for the conference and accepted by the program committee for oral presentation
  • actual participation in the conference
  • scientist aged 35 or less

Application is by email to International Dupuytren Society, providing the name, address, and age of the scientist, and the title of the accepted paper. If more than 4 scientists apply for the award, the organizing committee will select the 4 winners of the award.

The Young Scientist Travel Award has been initiated by Prof. Heinrich Seegenschmiedt, Germany, and specifically supported by the DART and British Dupuytren’s Society Facebook groups. It is additionally funded through donations from patients and patient organizations. On behalf of the scientists supported by this Award the International Dupuytren Society would like to thank those who initiated this Award and helped funding it.

Best Paper Awards

There will be two awards, each of £ 250, for the best free paper presented at the conference. One award will be presented for the best basic science paper, and one for the best clinical paper. The winners will be announced at the closing of the conference on Tuesday, 7 September 2021. The Best Paper Awards are sponsored by the International Dupuytren Society.
